About Yes Please

Having always had an enormous passion for homemaking and interior design, I started my blog nearly two years ago as an outlet for my cooking experimentations and of course my home renovation projects and ideas. Since then it’s grown into more than just a hobby, and has become a big part of who I am. In the past couple of years this blog has taken me to various countries (take a peek at my travel section), and introduced me to the wider world of interiors, as well as many other bloggers and brands. I’m very proud to have been featured in a number of magazines this year, from Ideal Home and Style at Home to Tatler and Glamour, as well as several national and international newspapers. I can’t wait to see where the blog might go from here, and hope that you’ll stick along for the ride!

About The Editor

I grew up in The Caribbean, Italy and The Netherlands, and have enjoyed quite an adventurous life so far – from being a sailing instructor in Minnesota, an animal nurse at an African wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa and a scuba diving instructor in The Caribbean, to becoming an art auctioneer, recipe developer, journalist and even a wedding planner in London! I love trying new things, visiting new places, meeting new people, coming up with new recipes and discovering new places in London. I tend to say ‘Yes Please!’ to most things, which inspired this blog! By day I’m a journalist and magazine editor, by night I’m a homemaker and house renovator, and I blog whenever I’m able to. I graduated with a degree in Business & Marketing which led to a few years in PR, until I finally found my feet in journalism at BBC Good Food Magazine. Since then I’ve written for Good Housekeeping, Country & Town House, Good Living, Stylenest, Hero & Leander and many others. For a few of my articles, see my portfolio.

Welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy reading!
