Island Living: Caribbean chic 🌴🐚⚓️

Having grown up in the Caribbean, I find India Hicks’ Caribbean chic and Colonial interior style very nostalgic. I’ve been following her Pinterest and Istagram for years and I’m not alone – her Bahamian home has appeared in countless magazines and blogs, and has been re-pinned thousands of times for inspiration. Her style is a mix of traditional furniture and modern and eclectic accessories, creating a layered feel that looks like it has evolved over many years (which it has), which creates a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. Below are just a few pictures of her home (from Veranda magazine) to give you an idea – and how you can recreate the look for less at home!
