This raita dip is literally GENIUS. Not only does it taste much better than the shop-bought ones you can get, but it takes just two ingredients, both of which you’ll probably have right now in your fridge. In fact, go and check your fridge and cupboards right now, and if you have these two, mix them together and see for yourself! I came up with the idea when I was craving some raita to go with my curry and couldn’t be bothered to go out in the rain to pick fresh mint, so thought I would experiment with a tablespoon of yoghurt and a tiny bit of mint sauce just to see what it would taste like, and I haven’t looked back since. I now make it every time I make a curry!
It’s so simple it really doesn’t even need a recipe, but here it is anyway:
- Some yoghurt
- Some mint sauce
Add a few heaped tablespoons of thick yoghurt to a small bowl, and stir in a teaspoon of mint sauce. That’s it. You’re welcome.
