Sunshine in a glass ☀️


I don’t know about you but the past couple of weeks I’ve been feeling tired and sluggish, my skin is the worst it’s been since I can remember, and I’m desperate for some sunshine! This little pick-me-up tastes just like sunshine in a glass. Okay, so it’s a glorified orange juice and probably doesn’t really need a recipe, but I promise it’ll give your day a little lift!

You’ll need:

  • 1 orange (or two)
  • 1 knob of ginger
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)


If you have a blender or nutribullet, just throw in the orange segments, grate in some ginger and add the juice of a lemon, and blitz to a smoothie! If not, use a hand-blender or squeeze the juice of both oranges and the lemon into a glass and add the grated ginger. I like to add a bit of honey (or Amaretto.. shhhh!) to mine but it’s not to everyone’s taste.
