My favourite affordable homeware shops on the internet

I’m frequently asked for advice on where to find affordable but chic homeware like cushions, rugs, mirrors, art, and decorative accessories in the UK. Everyone is familiar with IKEA and John Lewis, and shops like OKA which are a bit pricier, but then people are often a bit stumped about where else to look! Of course you could search through my curation of unique finds on my lust list shop, but if you’d rather browse the internet yourself, here’s a list of my favourite resources:

For decorative accessories:

Check out: Rockett St George, Graham & Green, Maisons du Monde, House of Fraser, Wayfair, Zara Home, H&M Home, Cuckooland, Trouva, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters

For art:

Artfinder (for affordable original paintings and statement pieces), Etsy (great for abstract art), Surface View (great for famous photographers like Slim Aarons), Desenio (also do pretty gold frames), Junique, King & McGaw, and John Lewis (for imitation art like Picasso or Matisse illustrations).

For furniture:

Cult Furniture (great for knock-off designer looks like Philippe Starck’s ghost chair), Made.com, Swoon Editions, House of Fraser, West Elm, Feather & Black and Maisons du Monde, or see my roundup of stunning furniture from around the web.

For lighting:

M&S Home, Debenhams, Next Home, Wayfair, and of course John Lewis, or see my roundup of beautiful lighting!

Happy shopping!
