Hi and welcome to Yes Please!
Having always had an enormous passion for homemaking & interior design, I originally started my blog as an outlet for my cooking experimentations and of course my home renovation projects and ideas.
I grew up in The Caribbean, Italy and The Netherlands, and have enjoyed quite an adventurous life so far – from being a sailing instructor in Minnesota, an animal nurse at an African wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa and a scuba diving instructor in The Caribbean, to becoming an art auctioneer, recipe developer, journalist and even a wedding planner in London! I love trying new things, visiting new places, meeting new people, coming up with new recipes and discovering new places in London. I tend to say ‘Yes Please!’ to most things, which inspired this blog!
By day I’m a freelance journalist, PR, social media consultant, interior buyer and interior consultant, by night I’m a homemaker and house renovator, and I blog whenever I have a spare few minutes! I hope you enjoy reading 🙂 Lotte xxx
Work with me
I offer freelance interior design consultancy, curate individual shopping lists, and am great at sourcing art to suit different people’s tastes. Want to redecorate, but don’t have the budget for an interior designer? Don’t sweat! If you tell me a bit about the type of style you like (or find a few images that you like on Pinterest), then I can put together some moodboards for you, using a combination of furniture, lighting, rugs, and decorations that suit your budget. Looking for something really specific for your home? Let me find it for you! Looking for a piece of art to suit your space? I’m your woman. Don’t be shy, get in touch! You can find me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’ve worked with over 200 brands in the past year, from creating collaborative advertorial content, to organising competitions and giveaways for my readers, to selecting products from partner brands to feature on my lust list or in room makeover posts, to doing Instagram and Twitter takeovers, creating new recipes and DIY projects using specific products, and of course creating a moodboard or ‘get the look’ feature specific to individual brands. There are SO many ways in which we can work together, the options are endless! If you think your brand is compatible, please get in touch: email@example.com.
