I’ve been naughty. Very naughty. And I’m sorry. After two years of investing so much love and time into this blog on a daily basis, I let it all slip. But it wasn’t for nothing, I promise. You see, quite a lot has changed since my last proper update. For one, Amsterdam didn’t quite work out as planned. We gave it a good crack, but after three months of looking around for relevant roles, feeling a little bored and lonely and getting more and more disheartened about job prospects, I got a call for my dream job; Digital Editor for Livingetc.com. As soon as I got the offer I packed my bags, got in the car and came straight back to London. And it’s been a bit of a whirlwind ever since! Aside from a super fun week skiing, it’s been a lot of early starts (it’s a two hour commute to Canary Wharf from our flat, yikes!) and a lot of late nights, so I’ve had to park the blog for a few months until things had calmed down a little. But every time I look at my laptop or log in to my Instagram and Twitter, I can’t help but feel a little sad, and I’ve been meaning to pick things up again. The break has been absolutely necessary in order to focus on establishing myself in this new job, so I hope you’ll forgive me.
